BFA Art, Fine Arts Practice

The Fine Arts Practice, BFA Art is for students who want to develop a focused body of work and a culturally responsive artistic practice. The studio-intensive program gives you space to investigate materials, explore ideas, and to develop a sustainable practice that matters to you.

Student Experience

Within the studio, students begin to hone their skills through a broad range of art foundations courses working in physical and digital mediums. Following their introductory survey of creative possibilities, students will deepen their practice through a concentrated focus in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, or an interdisciplinary practice that supports the vision for their work. On completion of the program, students will have created an ambitious collection of work, staged their senior show, and developed a professional practice to launch their emerging art career.
