Donate To ASI

Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) at East Bay exists to ensure that the student voice is at the heart of the campus community. As a 501(c)(3) organization, ASI strives to serve the students primarily through an annual activity fee paid for by every student. This allows the student-led organization to provide leadership opportunities and scholarships, campus engagement, and student advocacy to a campus community.

ASI is dedicated to making the student experience a little better every day. Your support further helps ASI to achieve its mission and support our students as they learn, grow, and make positive change in the world. Whether you are ASI-Alum or you’re committed to student success in higher education, we truly value your passionate support!

As our pillars guide us, there are three areas where your support makes a huge difference:

STUDENT LEADERSHIP -

Your support will help to fund leadership development of our students and to support funding for student conferences and training opportunities. Within ASI, there are approximately 75 students who have the ability to further develop their skills through serving on the board of directors, being part of ASI committees, participating in a first year mentor program, and being employed as a student assistant.

STUDENT ADVOCACY -

Your support will help to fund scholarships and programs for students to ensure that they have all of the important resources for success through graduation. ASI offers academic-based, needs-based, and pioneer pride scholarships to the student community every year. ASI also supports campus initiatives that serve various communities such as HOPE pantry, emergency housing, club funding, and cultural graduation programs.

STUDENT ENGAGEMENT -

Your support in this area helps to ensure that students always feel at “home” and part of a community. Some of our greatest memories are often around meeting people and making friends through engaging activities, music concerts, comedy shows, open mic nights, carnivals, and the list goes on! ASI works to provide a diverse array of programming for students as well as creating campus traditions.

Specific ways your gifts help:

  • $100 can provide student leaders with training opportunities such as StrengthsQuest, leadership workshops on various topics;
  • $125 can cover the registration fee for a student leader to attend CSU CSSA leadership conferences;
  • $200 can provide more prize winnings for ASI’s Pioneer Pride Scholarship (weekly winners);
  •  $500 can cover the hotel and transportation costs to attend CSU CSSA leadership conferences;
  • $1000 can provide an additional student with an ASI scholarship (Academic or Needs Based) through Financial Aid;
  • $2500 can cover the cost of a weekly performance for the campus community (such as a Comedian, Musician, Spoken Word Artist, etc)

Thank you in advance for your support of ASI! Should you have any questions or would like to discuss ideas that you have to support ASI, please contact James Carroll, Executive Director at james.carroll@csueastbay.edu.
