Wishing You a Peaceful Winter Break

Dear campus community,

As our campus heads into Winter Break, I want to wish everyone a restful end of the year. December and January can be a time of reflection and renewal for many communities. It is a season where many religious and spiritual communities recognize, observe, and share commitments to values of love, peace, and something greater than the individual.

The recent national and global news of tragic and violent events brings fear, pain, and grief here and around the world. For many of us this violence hits home especially during this holiday season. I am reminded of the values we hold dear at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥, to support each other with kindness and caring, and to share responsibility for creating a safe engaging community for all of our students and employees.

I am especially appreciative of those on our campus who will be on duty throughout the break to maintain and repair our facilities, and to provide safety for our community and properties.

My hope is that the Winter Break will provide an opportunity for you and your loved ones to connect, recharge, and renew community.

Have a good Winter Break and Happy Holidays. Looking forward to returning in the New Year.
